In July of 2020 Beehive Homes purchased this lovely, traditional brick home in the Forest Oaks subdivision of West Rome. The home was in great condition, but hadn't been updated since the 1970's. 

With only two previous owners, The Cook family owned this house from 1971 until our purchase in the summer of 2020. 

There wasn't an aspect of this house (other than the roof!) that we didn't rehab in some way. We kept materials traditional (yet modern) while honoring some of the original items in the home like the slate flooring in the entry and the gorgeous front windows overlooking the quiet street.

My favorite part of this project:  All three bathrooms in the Hycliff project were 95% original to when the home was built, so I had a lot of fun picking modern tile choices and opening up these spaces. The black and white pattern tile in the basement bathroom is still my all-time favorite!
